Dancing Doris: Salsa Night

You are invited to enjoy a Salsa Night at the ArtsXchange! This free event is part of Now is the Day , A Life Well Lived, an archival exhibtion celebrating the life of Dr. Derby, curated by Courtney Brooks.

We continue celebrate her by moving and grooving in spirit with our beloved Dancing Doris.  King Quic will share his Bronx-style Salsa dance. King Quic had the privilege to perform with Dr. Derby at ViZion Dance Inc’s “Day of Respect” awards gala, which is where she received her Living Legend Award! It is an honor to have him join us for this special event.
