Joe's Jazz Joint | Concert Series

Catch live performances by local, national and international jazz artists in the Paul Robeson Theater at the ArtsXchange every Sunday from Oct. 8 to Dec. 11. Each show is $20 or you can purchase six shows for $100.

Produced by Joe Jennings and Carlos Glover, this concert series isn't just for the listeners. It's also for the musicians who sacrifice and suffer for the art. It's a place where they can earn a living. A place where young instrumentalists can find inspiration and a stage to play the music they love.

Born in Natchez, Mississippi, Joe Jennings is currently President of Sip-Jenn Music.  Joe retired as Director of

The Spelman College Jazz Ensemble and Coordinator of Jazz Studies at Spelman College on May 31, 2013. Mr. Jennings’ teaching experience includes: Clark College, Mississippi Valley State College, Morehouse and Spelman College. His performing experience includes tours and performances with Johnny Taylor, Duke Pearson, Clifford Jordan, Edward Kid Jordan, Alvin Fielder, Freddie Waits, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Ruben Phillips and
